View Full Version : DVD2SCVD and CCE Trial problem

Has anyone here seen a problem like this? I have D2S122b3 installed with Avisynth 2.55 and Ds2Roba 3.60. When I setup D2S to encode with CCE (Basic or 2.66 trial) and click GO, it completes the audio portion of the work no problem. When it tries to run CCE, it just says "failed:invalid handle" (see below). If I run EclCCE by hand it continues, otherwise I have to use the task manager to kill D2S. When I run CCE by itself it works fine! Doesn't matter which avi I try to convert, this happens.

I've uninstalled D2S, CCE, D2SRoba and Avisynth, rebooted and reinstalled and it *still* does it. Can anyone give me some hints?

PC specs:
2.4Ghz P4 on Asus P4P800 mb, 512Mb RAM
11Gig free on temp and 38 Gig free on work drives, Win 2K.

by the way, if I use TMPG or Quenc as the encoder it works with no problems.

I originaly posted this in CCE forum but it doesn't look like its a CCE problem but a DVD2SVCD problem.

Just to check.
The filepath box in the Encoder tab.
Is it set to point to ccesp.exe or eclcce.exe?
If it is the former, change it to the latter.

I've tried it both ways with the same result. At the moment it's EclCCE.

Since no one seems to have any ideas, I'll stop using CCE and just stick to TMPG. A shame really as I got better results from CCE when it was working. Thanks anyway.
