Ever since I updated to 3.5.1.0, Decrypter seems to gradually slow down at random points in the File Mode rip on any DVD to a point where all process stops and seems to "hang" regardless if I use the Burner or ROM to rip. If I do nothing for 1 to 2 mins, it seems to recover by itself and continues to rip from where it left off without any errors. This occurrs from 1 to 3 times per DVD & occurrs on all DVDs. All processes and AV are disabled, and Task Mngr shows processor as "Idle" when this occurrs. No Adware or Virii indicated. This did not happen with vers 3.1.7. Can anyone advise what changed that would possibly cause this situation to develop?

Win XP Home SP1
P4 3.0 ghz
800 FSB
1 GB RAM
Liteon ROM as Slave on Secondary with DMA enabled
NEC 3500A on Master of Secondary with DMA enabled.

Try just deleting your ide controller in device manager and rebooting.

Also, ensure you're running the latest IDE / chipset drivers for your motherboard.

(Get them off the intel site or something)

Thanks much Lightening UK, I updated MB Bios, removed and reinstalled both IDE Controllers & reset Decrypter to default settings. All seems to be normal now. Rips are smooth and constant at up to 8X. I think your response and willingness to help solve these issues is nothing short of "OUTSTANDING.":) :) :)
