This has just started happening - encoding movies with Xvid through VirtualDubMod and the beginning of the movies now have a Divx watermark for a couple of seconds?

AVICodec tells me the movies are Xvid as I thought as that was the compression codec I loaded in VirtualDubMod.

Anyone seen this before?

deselect "generic MPEG4 support" in the DivX decoder configuration... or at least enable "disable logo".

Isn't it that VirtualDub uses VFW instead of DirectShow to load
videos? Therefore there shouldn't be the DivX Logo when loading
a movie to VD. Could be possible that the movie was reencoded to
XviD using DivX as source (and an utility which uses DirectShow
such as TMPGenc - yeah, some people actually encode with this).
