Can't process AC3 in VDM 1.5.10.1

Hi everyone. I've just upgraded from VirtualDubMod 1.5.4.1 to 1.5.10.1 since it has meny new innovations and bugs fixed. But i'm unable to encode/convert/compress file with Ac3 audio. I don't have a clue why. Prev. versions (as well as 1.5.4.1 ) work with ac3 without a problem (for example converting Ac3->mp3.) Of course i have Ac3 filter installed (Gspot says no problems). Here's my symthoms:

a) I start VDM 1.5.10.1, open .avi file (Xvid, 2-channel AC3)
b) If i try to play/review file straight after opening it - no problem ,i can preview audio and video
c) I go to Steams->Stream list, right click on stream , set full proc. mode.
d) Than i set compression choose appropriate bitreate of mp3 codec (for example 128kbps 48khz stereo)
e) If i try to hit "save avi" i get error saying that no decompressor for audio stream can be found.
f) If i go back and try to preview again - i receive same error.
I tried to reinstall ac3 filter and other codecs/filter - notheing.
Does anybody has any clue how ti fix it?

ac3 filter wont help a bit... thats directshow, not VFW.

install ac3acm from fcchandler.

Thanks very much, I downloaded and installed it fro Fcchandler's homepage. NOw VDM can precess ac3 fine. Just wondering how previous vdm versions worked without it?

They included an internal AC-3 decoder.
