Hi,
I'm trying to encode som DVB material to Xvid. the reslution of the material is 352x576 (anamorphic I think)).
I'm not quite sure what output resulution to choose.
Would there be any point in going tfor an output resolution with a width of more than 352 pixels ?
My instinct tell me no since there are only 352 pixels in the input and making it larger would not make the quality better.
But If I set the imput aspect ratio to 256/117 PAL 352x576 input aspect ration and the anamorphic option is checked and chooses and output width of 352 pixels the output hieght is only set to 197 pixels.
And again my instinct tells me that here I'm loosing quality because the input size of 576 pixels is "downsized" to only 197 pixels.
My goal is to loose as little quality in the encoding as possible.
