can DVD decrypter batch rip?

can dvd decrypter do batch file ripping?
say for instance on tv show dvds. like simpsons and futurama and cheers.

these dvds have multiple episodes on them. so selecting them all and ripping to individual folders would be cool.

Duuno about the others, by my Futurama DVD's are pretty much one episode per vob. Sometimes the titles or credits overlap but only marginally.

i haven't had that problem at all ripping my futurama dvds. mine are r1 versions though. your might be differently structured.

what i mean is, each episode shows up in dvd decrypter as a separate pgc of about 22 minutes each. to rip them i have to do them one at a time. i wanted to know if they can all be selected at once and ripped in one go to separate folders.?

No, it can't do that. The author of the program suggests that you should use DoItFast4U, which can automate this process. I tried DIF4U, but the interface is not as straightforward as DVDDecrypter's. So, I make use of DVDDecrypter's CLI parameters and Notepad to produce a .cmd batch file everytime I want to rip an episodic DVD. Not too hard, I must say...

The batch file and the Command Line options for DVD Decrypter works very well. This would certainly be able to do what you wish as most options available in the GUI are available from the command line. If my memory serves me correctly, the correct syntax takes a little bit of getting used to but once you get it down pat, you'll find it very easy.

You could also try robot4rip, which is included in the GordianKnot Rippacks 0.28.8 and earlier. It can use either DVDDecrypter, its internal routines or VStrip and it has a job/enqueue list

how about going to file mode and selecting the VOBs you need,
but they all go to the same directory...

as long as you set it to append the pgc number to your file name they can go in the same folder, and when you create your d2v files you can put those into separate output folders keeping temporary, audio, and fianl project files separate.
