On most of today's DVDs, when you push stop button (full stop, not resumable) there would be some kind of full screen picture or splash image of that movie.

How would I implement one into a DVD that does not originally have it?

Thanks

Please elaborate a bit on that ... how do you achieve that effect? I bet a lot of readers would be interested in that information ...

Its called a jacket image on DVDs. This feature is only compatible with certain dvd players like sony.

Thx. for sharing the information - I didn't know jacket files were displayed when you hit the "pause" button. You never stop learning :).

I know subferno answered this already, but just for more clarification:

It's called a Jacket Picture, residing in a seperate folder in the root of the disc, called JACKET_P

This folder must contain 3 stills encoded as mp2 files.
