Access violation at MultiCopy.exe in IC7 error, help!

Hi,

Every time I start up InstantCopy 7 now I get this error:

"Access violation at address 004775ED in Module 'MultiCopy.exe'. Read of address 00000018."

I don't have a clue what this means but it happened after one of the programs i was using made a change to the registry so I think it may be that.

Does anyone know what the problem is and if it can be fixed without re-installing all over again?

Maybe you have XPSP2 installed? Pinnacle claims that only Instant releases after 8.2 are guarenteed to work with XPSP2.

I would go for a re-install of IC7, takes only a few minutes

I have reinstalled it a couple of times and IC 8 ( which never reported the same problem ) and it is still doing it even after HD format and OS reinstall.
