hi,

iam trying to use dvd-rebuilder with cce basic trail version but i get the error "item.ecl is not a ECL for CCE Basic Trail Version" would i get this error with the retail version?

i have no problem with CCE SP or rejig.

what iam i doing wrong??

Make sure you changed the CCE setting in DVD-RB to reflect that your using CCE Basic. More than likely you have it set using CCE SP at the moment, which is causing that error.

Open DVD-RB -> Options -> CCE Options -> CCE Basic (v2.67+)

Click that and prepare again. Should not have that error anymore.

Update: My mistake, as robot1 noted, CCE Basic Trial is not supported my ECLCCE.

i check the setup and its allright and it is setup to cce basic

iam trying to setup eclcce with cce basic and i cant so i modify the ini file and eclcee does run but gives an error that it can find the cce window error 87

do i need another version of eclcce??

also why do i need to setup the path for the cce basic and another path for the cce sp??

DVD-RB works with CCE Basic retail, non trial version.
EclCCE supports only CCE SP (2.50 and 2.6x trial).

I'm not sure if Basic Trial can read Ecl Files, most CCE trials can't as part of the trial limitation. And as robot1 said EclCCE doesn't work with Basic.

If you download the CCE SP trial version you can use EclCCE and it will work with DVD-RB. As long as you don't increase the number passes from the default 2, it will give a good indication of the quality CCE Basic will give if you decide to buy it.
