I was suggest to use Scenaid instead of Reathorist. However I do not know how I can delete some segments of the original movie using Scenaid. In Reathorist this can be done easily because Reathorist put some dummy file in the script. If I uncheck some vts or PGs in DoitFast4U these segments will be put directly in the video_ts subdir without any change. As I know in Scenaid I can not delete any segments. An other problem with DoitFast4U and Scenaid that within VTS set I can not change the bitrate calculated to CCE, only manually. However this case I have to recalculate everything to fit it on the disc. And author scenarist manually.
Is there any way to do it automaticly using Doitfast4U and Scenaid?
Any guide?
Thanks for your help!

well molmik,
the truth of the matter is the authors of these programs have chosen not to support the removal of items from a back-up.
yes it can be done but not via these apps.
you could preprocess your movie prior to running 'the big 3', or as you have already noted, perform this manually and adjust your bitrates to suit.
D3s7 is planning on incorporating bitrate control, although it may take a while as he has other problems to deal with first (dont you D3s7 :sly: )

If you uncheck PGC dummy files were created .... If you uncheck VTS that's true that files are in the video_ts.

Hi,
most people who are advised to ScenAid instead of ReAuthorist have the same "problem (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=81194&highlight=remove+extras)"
Do you know that there is a search function on this board?

I'll try it. This could solve my problem for a while...
Thanks
