After about 3 hours of work trying different methods, I have been unable to successfully get 6 wavs with appropriate labels to re-encode this .dts file to ac3. The first method I tried was with azidts.exe. This produced 6 files that seemed fine, however they were incorrectly labelled. Playing the "LFE" wav produced normal sound, while playing the SR wav, was all bass and more than likely the LFE channel. I have no way of telling which is supposed to be which and so I tossed that and tried with GraphEdit. This with the iviaudio.ax from WinDVD6 Platinum. Decoded to wav fine, used wav2wav6.exe to split it up, again wrong channel designations. There was a iviaudio4.ax and an iviaudio3.ax with the wav2wav6 so I unregged the WinDVD6 one and regged one of those and tried in graphedit, which gave me too short wav files, I didn't even check if the channels were correct.
What gives? There are no other methods posted that I could find that doesn't use the intervideo audio decoder which seems to be the problem, but I don't know why. This is frustrating.
