DVD Shrink disk read error

In both DVD Shrink and Decrypter (both latest versions)some discs produce the following error when first starting the decription process.
DVD... encountered an error and cannot continue.
Failed to read file "E\".
Incorrect function.
What is the problem and what is the fix?

if you are using the latest version of DVDDecrypter (3.5.1.0) then it sounds like a dodgy Disc

is there anything in the destination folder from either program?

try getting hold of the free version of DVD43 and then copying the files across with Windows as you would with any other files
