I'm trying to backup a NTFS dvd to a PAL dvd with DVD2SVCD v1.2.2.b3.
The problem i have is that the video is about 2 seconds to late compared to the audio and the subtitles.

What is going wrong?

Here are my logfiles:

Will the DVD rip with the internal ripper or is it one of those which requires the latest version of DVDDecryptor?

If it will rip with the internals please try this as it often solves sync issues.

It's not ripped with the internal ripper.
The rip thats already on the harddisk is ok and doesn't have the problem.

DVD2SVCD tends to have less sync problems when the internal ripper is used. I appreciate that your external rip plays OK but that doesn't guarantee it will convert OK with DVD2SVCD.

If it is possible to re-rip the disc with the internal ripper it may help. That's all I was suggesting.

These audio/video synch problems usually are related with short PGCs at the begining of the VOBs.
If your rip is a file mode one, it probably plays well in a SW player, but DVD2SVCD needs a movie-only rip.

Please follow Nick's recommendation, and let us know if the new encode works fine or not.

BTW, you can rerip with dvd2svcd from your HD if the rip is a file mode one.

I will follow Nick's recommendation and rerip with dvd2svcd from my HD.
Tomorrow i report if the conversion is ok.
