Hello everyone

I have a question about MKV and subtitle. I'm a newbie in the matroska world. A friend give me a Matroska file to the see how it's a cool thing:p , and i was enjoy:D . I try to make my own backup, but when i want to try the final file, there is no SUB (srt or ssa or idx...). They're in the file, but i can select then in Media PLayre Classic (last version). I think it's the player, but the files from my friend work correctly.... I search in the forum, but i didn't found an answer(maybe i see it, but i don't understand english very well:p ). I use the last pack from Matroska (1.0.3) and the last mkvtoolnix (0.9.5).

So, where is my problem?

And when i put a sub file near the mkv with the same name, sub don't appear. I think is the mkv generated who doesn't work correctly:confused: .

Thank you;)

and sorry for my english....:D

in media player plassic go to view ---> options

select filters and de-select the internal matroska splitter, then open your file. are the subtitles showing up then?

if you used latest matroska muxer you must use matroska pack 1.0.3 bundled vsfilter to view your subs
