How to do a specific two-pass encoding??

I would like to do two-pass encoding with:

first past quality level of 50, no inloop cutoff, and vbrUnconstrainedBitrate

then a second-pass with inloop on

is this possible?

donnyj: you are in luck. First pass already has no inloop in vbrUnconstrained mode. Just for the reason you mention: it speeds it up :)
