Hello.
I have come to the conclusions after many tests that i prefer xine and its most stable for me.
Problem is that matroska files with aac audio works fine and all other video formats I have tried works great too. But when i tried to play my newly created matroska files with ac3 in it it just wouldnt get any sound. If I use stream information in xine it doesnt even find the audio. (The files work great in windows). I can play them in mplayer but theres a few things thats just keeps me from wanna use it as my main player. VLC also plays them but all sound from vlc sounds bad no matter what audio output mode I use.
Have anyone in here got xine and matroska files with ac3 audio to work?
Version I have installed are Xine version 1.05rc5 (I can play avi with ac3 fine so its not missing ac3 support)
Second question is if anyone have got a player that supports matroska with chapters. Id love to be able to use the chapters. Again they work in windows.
Basicly everything is great in windows but i just like linux more so I hope for some tips from you guys.
