PVR-250 problems

I recently purchased a pvr-250. It worked fine when I first installed it, but I had to format and lost the cd. I downloaded the drivers and software off the website for it and now when I try to capture it wont tune any channels OR composite. I have wintv32 and that can tune the composite fine but I need to record. I am trying to transfer vhs to dvd, and I cant get virtual vcr to work, probably because the card has onboard mpeg encoding. Has anyone had this problem/have any idea who to fix it?

I found out the prob. I had to hit the one press record button thing for it to do anything
