I copied a DVD using DVD shrink 3.1. The files are on my computer, and I can play the VOB files, but when I burn the video and audio TS folders to a DVD, they won't play. Is there a way to salvage this, as I don't have the original DVD any longer. I am thinking there must be a way to reproduce the IFO and BUP files to point correctly to the VOB files that play, but I am cluesless how to do it. I can read instructions well and follow them, so if there is a place to read how to do this, please just point me in the right directioin.
Thanks.

Don't use applications that burn invalid DVD-Video discs like Nero and CloneDVD for writing the files on a disc. Also, check if your player supports the disc type you were trying to use.
And use mkisofs to create a *working* image file to burn. I'll translate this (http://www-user.tu-chemnitz.de/~noe/richtig_brennen/) to english this evening.

Nero still can't burn dvd-video properly??? are you sure about that?
I use it often now....
just choose dvd-video as the dvd format i want to burn, and then drop the vob/ifo's that dvdshrink or some other program generated for me, like tmpgenc dvd author

Yes, i'm sure. Though the bugs now screw up other players. For example people on brennmeister complained about XBox/PS2 not liking Nero burns.
However, all of those people there seem to require a large amount of colored buttons, as none of them is willing to drop Nero, and rather waste hours to find the correct settings to create a disc that works on a certain device...
