What's a DL burn?

From the current Doom9 news message:
"There's a dialog box to remind users to load the MDS file instead of the ISO file - it's good practice and is vital for nice DL burns. Besides these additions, the new version also contains some changes and fixes (changelog). "
So what is a DL burn?
