DVD copy protection

Hi, my brother's friend have been borrowing a lot of my DVD collection. Is there any program that can track if he's using a ripper program to copy my DVD?

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

To answer your question very briefly, "No." A DVD is an optical storage device, and there is no wear from reading by laser. In addition, there is no physical difference between "playing" on a DVD player and "ripping" on a PC, except perhaps for RPM.
