OK to MUX both srt and vob subtitles into the same Matroska file?

Is it permitted to MUX both srt and vob formatted subtitles within the same Matroska video? Or must I choose one or the other?

It seems that the problem was my own fault. I'd re-installed GordianKnot, which somehow messed up the display of subtitles. Re-installing the Matroska Pack fixed the problem.
