Chapter problem in DvdShrink

I recently edited a dvd down using dvd shrink, and everything seemed to go fine. I dragged the movie over multiple times, and used the start/stop frame thing to do the editing and burned it.

Problem is, you can't skip chapters. I played it using powerdvd, and you could see the time bar begin and end with each chapter, but the chapters all seemed to be "chapter 1" and I couldn't skip to the next or previous one.

Is there a way to specify chapter numbers in dvdshrink, or am I boned?

nope, afaik not. that's where 'real' dvd authoring solutions (like dvdlab etc) come into play!

Can I edit in dvdlab? Or other such programs?

nope, not really. it's an authoring app. see the steps are as follows:

-edit video to your liking
-generate dvd compliant video (already taken care of if you do this in shrink
-author the dvd using an authoring app
-burn the dvd

Thanks for the reply. So, I can just take the video output I've already re-authored in dvd-shrink, and then re-reauthor it with dvdlab to get the chapters working? That would be cool.
