scenarist Problem

Ive made a DVD from DV cam with TMPGEnc and scenarist.... I've encoded a m2v and a mp2 file with TMPG. THe m2v please smooth and fine, but when i've autothed the file in scenarist (2.6) the playes the vob files (or burn it to DVD) the movie does not play smooth anymore, its really jerky... Anyonw knows what the oriblem can be?
