VOB with multiple video tracks

When ripping a DVD with DVD Decrypter v3.2 it appears that the vob file has multiple video tracks. The credits at the beginning start in english, and are then repeated immediately in french. Oddly enough, the audio is not out of sync. Luckily this only happens with the first VOB, but it's still irritating.
I've tried ripping it as a multiangle DVD in IFO mode, but the same thing happens.
Anyone have any ideas?

I'd hazard a guess that the disc uses branching to show one of those two credits parts depending on which language you selected in it's setup menus, so DVD Decrypter can't decide which parts to keep and which to dump - that's probably what you should do in some editing application...
