Has anybody heard of B's recorder gold 7, if so is it a good mp2 encoder

Never heard about it, but tooLame is an excellent free MP2 encoder, and it can be integrated into TMPGEnc, if desired (the newer TMPGEnc versions have a good MP2 encoder on board already).
