CCE V2.50 max bitrate troubles

hi guys......i have CCE V2.50 when i try and make a 3 pass VBR (Min 5000,Av 7000,Max 9000) the output becomes Max 9800 every time....i can do it in CCE V2.69 Basic but it only does 2 passes.

any hints?

mmmm...if it's checked, try unchecking DVD compliant...it serves no useful purpose for us and can override your settings.

edit: if memory serves me correctly checking dvd compliant stamps the stream as 9800 but doesn't change the actual max bitrate.

u genius man......it worked .....ie Max 9000 .....unticking DVD Compliant worked......thanx very much dude........
