winavi problem

does anyone know how i import 2 halves of an avi movie into winavi to encode together.
i have just encoded 1 avi movie using winavi and it took an hour.
so i really want to keep using this program as it is super fast.
but as i say it's ok if the avi is not 2 halves.

i tryed joining the 2 avi's in virtual dub but when i import it into winavi an error message says

MEDIA INFO ERROR
FRAME COUNT=0
AUDIO WAITING=1

then this one appears...

FAIL IN BUILDING DIRECTORY

anyone help please?

winavi is a commercial program - you've paid $29.99 to get support, pls use it!

well actually i have not paid anything for it yet as im trying out the trial version, i assume thats the idea, to try before you buy !

and i was under the impression that this forum was a "HELP" forum.

if you can't be bothered to help newbies such as myself then why
bother answering at all?

If you'd taken the time to do a forum search, or informed us of the results of such search, you'd have found four threads on Winavi (http://forum.doom9.org/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=745998&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending) dating back to June 15th. It seems that our forum members either don't have much experience with the app, or have identified too many problems to make it a viable solution.

Killingspree's suggestion to use Winavi support is valid, I just don't think there's a lot of help or information available here at Doom9 on Winavi.

I find your rude and aggressive behaviour to be highly inappropriate; it seems that not finding a gift wrapped solution, you choose to insult, rather than further discuss the issue whilst giving evidence of extended effort on your part to find a solution. If you cannot graciously accept the offered advice, I could ask the same question of you......
