I use DVD Decrypter 3.2.3.0 for ripping my DVDs. And Virtual CloneDrive for mounting the ripped ISO images.
Latetly I have a problem when I try to backup one of my CSS protected DVDs. I use DVD Decrypter to rip the DVD as an ISO img on my drive and then I use InstantCopy 8. However InstantCopy fails to process the mounted DVD image since it is CSS copyprotected. Does DVD Decrypter fail to actually remove the CSS protection? The image is successfully transcoded without any problems using CloneDVD2, which I believe also checks for CSS protection. I first started having this problem about a month ago.
My DVD Decrypter settings under CSS Tab are:
CSS Cracking Method: I/O Key Exchange -> Brute Force
Detect Mastering Errors, Force Decryption Key and Force VOB CSS Flag removal are all unchecked.
CSS Detection Search Size: 1,000 sectors
DeCSSPlus Key Occurences: 1
DeCSSPlus Pattern Repeat Length: 14
My settings are basically the default ones.
If anyone knows whats wrong or has any suggestions please share them with me.
Thank you
