Hi.im using autogard. for back up dvd and want to say thanks for this program.its very simple, and does the great job!!!
i wont to ask for help in :
1)sometimes when i did back up dvd5 ntsc - and i got dvx - open with defferent program-dvx-players - om top of pikcture(left or right) i have very thin-thin black line,which shaking.i tried to reindtol prog. and kodecs but its no differents. i tryed different resolution - the line still in the pucture.What should I do?
2) when i download the autogardian not. its was 1.25 version. Unfortunetly my home comp does not conected to enternet.only at work,i have enternet.,but at waork - i can not back up dvds.when i tryed to download update of prog. - i have error messege -you have to download 1.25 first.what should i do? does it passible to download update of autogardian knot,copy to external flash-drive - then run at home comp.? if yes,where that upgrade i can downlod?

1) you can play around with hidden option file ".autocrop" (see hidden_options.txt file in AutoGK dir). By setting threshold lower and lower (from default 34) until it crops black bars away (check through the preview)

2) As update installer says: you have to have full 1.25 installed then install any of the updates (1.52 current). There is no reason why it should not work from external flash drive - just download both files to it and run one after another. (If I understood question correctly)

thank you for the reply.i have auto gardian knot 1.25 inst...downloaded 1.25update and 1.52update,also hiden fils tool(rar). do i understand correktly i have to run 1.25 update,restart,hidden tools,restart,1.52update,restart.???
and im not sure where i can find autocroping???. thanks.ura101

If you have 1.25 already installed then you just run 1.52 update. No restart of PC is necessary. If you don't have AutoGK installed then install 1.25 Full (not update) and then 1.52 update. You don't need hidden option tool.

Please read FAQ (section about hidden files) and hidden_option.txt file in the AutoGK install dir.

thanks for your patients about my-?when i have dvd with 2 movies i was able to use prog. shrink dvd - cut 1movie- make video folder- and from video folder with 1.25 setup autogard... a was able to do dvx.after 1.52 update - i geting error message- use dvd decryptor - info faile missing. Why? i remove autogard.,reinstall 1.25 setup - no problem.... i dont have problem to use decryptor,but i dont know how to cut dvd on half...
2) about autocroping. if i understand you correctly - this is in hiddel tools. in instruction i read this only in xvid,not in divx.im prefer divx,but to remove thin black line i will use anything. please,for me this VERY IMPORTANT.how i can find and change autocroping? i reas manual-instractiuom,but i did not find anything about? please,write for me step by step about autocroping instraction.thank you very much!!!
