Nero Recode 2 Doubt (DVD to 2x700Mb .mp4 files) How?

Hi All,

There is one doubt regarding nero recode in my mind please
some one clarify it.

Well the thing i wanted to do is

Copy a movie dvd to nero digital format(.mp4)
and Audio is 5.1 (option selected in nero)but 2 CDS
(i.e. 2x700MB = 1400MB 2 seperate spilt of the same movie as CD1&2)

I would like to make a 2 cd .mp4 file so that justice could be done
to the video bitrate as it compresses to either one cd(700/800MB) or
custom size.

Is there any way i could command nero recode to make a 2 CD .mp4 file
so that i would get good video bitrate with 5.1 sound.

I have seen no option in nero recode for 2 cds if its there please
help me to know where its located.

Have you updated your program? That option is available only in the latest update

You can manually choose which chapters to encode, so you can always encode a range of chapters to a cd and so on...

i know about the chapters option
but what if a single chapter is 2 hrs of video and i want to
split it into 2 seperate 1hr each in .mp4 format.

Does it have a provision for such type.

I have a dvd which has 2 movies in it each 2 hrs.

and each chapter is one whole movie and i wanted to split the
2 movies as

Movie 1
- CD1 (1hr)
- CD2 (remaining 1hr)

Movie 2
- CD1 (1hr)
- CD2 (remaining 1hr)

Buddy are u getting my problem.

Or is there any way by which i could later split the .mp4 file
if i create a 1400MB .mp4 file (of entire 2hr chapter) into
2CDS so that they could be burned on 2 CDS.

Have you got the latest update or not? If it's so when you choose the target filesize there's the option to autosplit file on cd (various presets included) or by manually choosing the details

I might not be having the latest version then all i wanted to confirm was that its possible to split the video .mp4 into 2cds while ripping them.
