I've been using GKnot for some time now without any problems what-so-ever. The past few DVD backups I've done, however, have been doing something strange.
I've been following the same exact procedures I've followed for over a year now..but the past couple I've done seem to be creating way more files...way more space...and much more time.
It used to be that it would go through the 3 passes I set it for...and I'd be left with a single AVI that is 4.5GB in size. (i encode to fit on a single DVD+R.) For some reason, when I'm doing it now, it does seem to create that one final AVI that I can use...but then there's also:
MovieTitle_part1.avi
MovieTitle_part2.avi
etc., up to about 5 or 6 parts. Each part is 4.5GB in size. Why is this suddenly happening???? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Drew
