greetings,
you might recognise me already from my silly questions, and from my lack of experience in digital video *grin*
anyway, im still in quest for a perfect recompress of LTU vs USA basketball match TV capture ;)
so here it is, part two:
i've tried tons, and loads, an uncountable amount of different smoothers, denoisers, grain removers and so on.. and thing is, either im doing something terribly wrong, or am i just blind, but they all look pretty similar to me! well, not all of them - dust did pretty good job, but then it made my conversion go down to 6fps, and encoding 2 hour tv capture with that is not nice!
so here i am, asking for your help.. i made a sample of the capture, for you to see how the noise looks like.. the final result will be of 384x288 resolution - i'm not sure wether NR should be run before or after resizing.
another point to note is that, usually after NR the result is still somewhat noisy, but at the same time its too smooth - when looking at faces they look just like one gray dot..
so, i hope someone of you can find a spare minute, and help silly ole me..
thanks!
