question about scenarist

i use scenarist 3.01 with script generated by scenaid !!!
but scenarist take a very very long time for importing subtitles (bmp and sst in the same folder ) !!
i think there is a prob because if i delete all subs scenarist works fine !!!

an idea ????

I've heard nothing but problems with Scenarist 3.01... unless you have a fairly kickass machine, it's a lot slower then 3.0

If you have a lot of subs this isn't that uncommon to take along time to import. Even worse, the subs actaully start slowing down on import the more there is

hummmmmmmmmmmm :)
scenarist import subs during 4 or 5 hours when i keep all the subs in the film : for exemple for pretty women there is 9 languages for the subs ( if i remember correctly) and importation during 6 hours min ......
my computer is athlon 64 based !! :( :(

If you have it, Try Scenarist 2.7

3.0 and newer really don't have any improvments over 2.7 and IMO, 2.7 still imports objects faster

Memory is also key w/ importing, more so them CPU speed
