vdubmod output seems large...

sorry for asking this question, but i just recently started using vdubmod, and when i use the same divx/xvid settings as in other programs, the output .avi from vdubmod i get seem unusually large...are there any settings i should change before i start encoding again? thx for any help. sorry for the noob question.:)

what compressing settings are you using (bitrate, etc)? which of the two are using... divx or xvid? also, what kind of audio compression or is there no audio?
what is you intended file size? what is the resulting file size?
what kind of file is your source (avi, MPEG, avs script)?

if you want us to tell what you should change, you should at least tell use what you've already tried... :rolleyes:
