Unfortunately noone knows (yet) what is new in this filter. Hopefully all the bugfixes of Toff...

Those versions also support TTA audio streams.

What's the difference between unicode and non-unicode version of mkv-splitter.
Splitter doesn't have any windows and doesn't show any messages.

unicode --> WinXP/2000
non unicode --> Win 98

Anybody knows where MPC saves the settings which internal decoders are enabled and which not??

I try to build a new setup using MPC and latest external MKV splitter, but unfortunately, MPC always has internal MKV splitter enabled after installation.

I already used Wise Installer to see if MPC writes to registry or to a file these settings, but I can't find the proper save point.

Any help would be very nice.
Thanks a lot
Raist

P.S. Or is anybody capable to integrate latest MKV splitter into MPC? This would be even better :) Thanks

It saves all in a .ini file, but you can't modify it directly.

You may:
1- open Media Player Classic;
2- press O (or: View -> Options);
3- select Filters from the menu on the left;
4- deselect Matroska Splitter from the area on the right.

The key your are searching for is :
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings\SrcFilters
Which is a bitmap of the internal filters to use.
So 0xfffffff mean all filters enabled and 0x00000000 all filters disabled.
0xffffffbf to disable only MatroskaSplitter.
Now of course it would be better to recompile MPC.

Thanks you both for reply.

Toff, your solution works 100%.
About recompiling MC, can you do it, if you have free time??
Thanks again
