I was wondering what the FOOL CCEnc is for?
And the Deblocking Y & UV ? Are these good for a grainy movie ....
And whats the film effect do?

it adds a silent audio to your avs script as otherwise CCE crashes when it reads from the script!

actually, deblocking is not really used on grainy movies iirc. it's used to reduce the amount of artefacts and especially blocks in your encode! afaik it reduces the amount of detail preserved though!
And whats the film effect do?
add grain/noise to your encode so it looks more like actually filmed material. i used this when combining actual DV material with screencaptures from the computer! if you do not add noise to those sections you kinda get the feeling that this movie's not 'real' - something's just not right.
