How do I make 1 DVD5 from 2 DVD's?

I have a 2 disc movie that is 3.5gb each DVD. Im trying to join them as one and then encode them so I can fit them onto 1 DVD5. Is there an easy way or a guide on how to do this?

You could use dvd2one which can easily join them together onto one disc but its not freeware.

Use DVD Shrink 3.2 in re author mode. Easy as pie. Its free, but you wont be able to keep the menus.
