Hello everyone, I have run into a problem at least i think so myself. I read the guide for virtualdub and when it came to the part of Multiplexing it showed the MPEG Layer-3 compression list and it went to [320 kBit/s, 48,000 HZ, Stereo 40Kb/s] when i try to do that with any video file i have it goes up to [56 kBit/s, 22,050 HZ, Stereo 7Kb/s]. I have noticed this limitation with MPEGenc as well. May this be happening because my codec is somehow not working properly or because of my video's file? I have used a wav as well but i still get the same problem. Thnx for you time. :)

It is because you have a "freeware" implementation of the MP3 codec. It is limited to a max of 56kbit/s and 22khz.

I don't know if telling the name of the hacked version of the mp3 codec would be against the board rules, therefore I remain silent.

PS: But you could still try to search on google :D

And you shouldn't use VDub for encoding your audio anyway. Use BeSweet or maybe HeadAC3he.
