How accurate is this tool in prediction?

I'll give it a go tonight, but my experience with libavcodec library leeds me to think that prediction is not going to be very accurate at all. But without giving it a go I probably shouldn't comment :)

I change the prediction-mode in the next upcoming version. In SVCD it is accurate. I must fix the DVD issue ...

Wait for 0.4

It will have this features:

You can select how many prediction passes you wana do.
New Prediction calculation.
more accurate on svcd/dvd than before.

@ Peter Cheat: You modded the libavcodec. Also the new 01.09.04 version works with FreeEnc 0.3

@ All: Fixed the subtitle bug.

I get this error during setup of latest version

Amnon82
3rd November 2004, 10:22
@clickit: What is exactly Your problem? Can it be that You installed it into 'C:\Program files\EasySVCD-DVD\'?

I'm from germany as you know. On my PC it will be 'C:\Programme\EasySVCD-DVD'.

So the mainproblem is as I think, that You've a ' ' in Your path. My GUI creates BAT-Files. These are based in DOS, where no ' ' is aceptable.

Check this please and install it somewhere else.

If it is another problem post me again the way You did it.

@Amnon82

I haven't reach the point to give an installation path.
The "BAD CRC" error happens first on installation, when extracting files, after I have double-clicked the EasySVCDDVD62.exe file
Maybe the file is corrupted ?

@clickit: Sorry I needed my program today my self on another machine and got also CRC. I must upload it again. It will be at 21:30 German-Time. Can You wait? ;)

clickit

of course I can wait my friend

Same problem for me.
Wrong installer package.

Amnon82
3rd November 2004, 22:02
I changed a littlebit the installer. Standard-path will be now
'C:\Cybernetsoftware\EasySVCD-DVD\' so all User won't have a problem if the click Next, Next, Next ;)

I just reencoded a SVCD to 1/2 DVD with the new QuEnc. Gues what I get for a FPS-Speed ... 85 FPS. Unbelievable!!!

I check my self if the new package has a crc, and then I post the link in the first post.

I hope You'll tell me if You have a problem with this new version.

[Edit] I uploaded it again, and again ... CRC-Error. Damit! So I packed the installer into a RAR-SFX and upload this. Let see if this works ...

Download it (http://www.brckomania.net/CYBERNETSOFTWARE/FILES/EasySVCDDVD62.exe) CRC-Checked.

Nic is too fast! Next version will support QuEnc 0.5X with Audio-Support. I hope the next QuEnc will be 0.60 ;)

@ freelock

Hi,

i think amnon 82 is retiered at the moment ; i see seral peges of this guy but at this time he is a little bit out :-((((

But a tip for freeenc template ; maybe you change the diamond size to 4 and the result would be better also Rv from 0.5 to 1.0.

by the way i found that the known matrix from MVCD and Bach are not so niche in the libv. coding.

I like the "XVCD" from that page : http://home.pages.at/xvcd/

I donīt test much , but the site is still under development and tests.

So further improovments are possible.

back to amnon 82 . maybe you like to mail him because he had also some other nice templates and matrices for testing

Well I do it.

@freelock: I didn't tried the avcodec. Use the original distribution by vmesquita if you have problems.
