I choose "use original palette" in subs options. After scenarist successfully process the data, I then proceed to ifoupdate using the options as stated new Big 3 guide.
When viewing the dvd from within ifoedit, the subtitles are funny. The subtitles is displayed in "white outline, cyan text". The original is black outline with yellow text.
I then tried "use scenarist palette (white text)" in scenaid subs options and this seems to work fine.
BUT in another DVD that I am encoding, I also used this "use scenarist palette (white text)", the subtitles are okay. EXCEPT for some weirdness when there are 2 subtitles displayed (like 1 subtitle is displayed for the main dialog and the other for either song translation or another dialog happening in the background). In this case the main subtitle is displayed in "black outline, white text" and the background subtitle is displayed in "black outline, black text".
I can provide the .sst and sample .bmps for both DVD if needed.
Thanks for the replies.
