How to add files to DVDit?

I thought I can add .avi files to DVDit PE. But I couldn't do that. I even tried using DVD2AVI and the VFAPI reader codec to create a psuedo avi files according the DVDit PE guide. What did I do wrong? Or what should I do?

Media files used in DVDit is supposed to be created and encoded in Addobe Premiere. Those to applications are syncronized with each other, and therefore, DVDit is only used for authoring the very special delivered pice of movie from Addobe Premiere.
