Does anyone know of a way to generate an H.264 file and mux it into an MPEG2 transport stream using free software?
I've tried a few of the h.264 codecs out there mpegable seems to be the most reliable unless I am wrong about this? But can it be put into an MPEG2 TS and are the tools to do this free?
thanks all
On anothe note, who has an idea when we will be easily able to generate H.262/AAC files muxed into MP4 as easy as it is to make XviD/mp3 in avi today?
Cheers

W00T! Black Hole Compression!
Didn't know that Steven Hawking is on the money roll of MainConcept :D
edit: Of course you'd need an inverse entropy reziproker to decode those files. I fear there is none for DirectShow.

I couldn't get the MainConcept encoder to encode anything. it keeps telling me "Error: Parameter incorrect" even with the default settings.
