how could you possibly post if your account was disabled?

That's only possible if you have a secondary account, which is forbidden anyway. Plus, you ought to read the news, we did not recover 100% of the database so it could be some accounts were impaired. That's not voluntarily but an unfortunate side effect of not having access to the entire database.
