Ok let me try to explain. I have been using the same set up for a while now with no problems til a few months ago on both my laptop and PC the problem started up out of the blue.
I have just reinstalled my OS's on the laptop and PC and of course all the ripping programs and still having the same problem
Here is the list of programs and versions I am using.
Dvd2svcd v.122_B1
Cinema_Craft_Encoder_2.67.09
eclcce_1.81
FACAR_1.06.7
D2SRoba 3.60
My problem. After a rip is done and watching it on the TV, on the right side the video will not go all the way over to the edge. I am posting a picture so you will see what I mean.
http://www.geocities.com/michiganfocker/guides/TV.gif
As you can see from the pic the video is way away from reaching the edge. I have no clue why this started happening or how to fix it. Maybe someone can give me some insight on it.
Should I try different versions of the programs I use? Any help is much apprectiated this is driving me nuts.
Thanks, Mich. :)

My first guess would be something is messed up in the FACAR department.
Post your DVD2SVCD log file if you can so we can have a look what's going on.

Similar situations happened to me when using "Autofit". Lately I stoped using it... no more problems :-)
The problem can be on the TV it self... have you tested on the PC?

Ok will post the log when I do my next rip later tonight.
Watching it on the PC looks normal to me. Odd again is, I download tons of movies and not one has this problem on the tv. It's only the rip's I do.
Also if I change my dvd player from 16:9 to 4:3 it looks perfect but of course the picture will look smooshed up. Not sure that is any useful information for you?
I am not sure this happens when ripping a full screen dvd. I am going to have to check that out. I do know it happens every time on with a wide screen dvd.
Thanks for the feedback will be back with a log file. Mich. :)

Did you made any kind of "color conversion"?

@MichiganFocker
We do not wish to know this.
Please keep debate in this forum about your legal backups of DVD's you own.

From the "FACAR" department... You are probably using too much overscan. Be sure to measure yor TV overscan to adjust FACAR defaults if needed. This can also happen with AutoFitCD. 4% is a safe value in most cases, but better check it out.

@Rockas - Nope I didnt make any color conversions to my knowledge.
@r6d2 - ok will have a look at the overscan.
Ok here is a log of my most recent rip.

@r6d2
Ok im guessing the overscan is under the fameserver tab and with FACAR selected.
I see it listed under the Avisynth Command window. It's set right now to... OverscanH=0.05 and OverscanV=0.05
If that's not the right place to be looking could you give me a heads up where to look. Also how do I measure my TV overscan?
Thanks Mich.
