ok this is going to be a little complex and alittle backwords so i apologize, i have made mpeg-2 (fully dvd compatible) files out of a laserdisk by way of capturing and encoding them seperately as my computer could not capture it all at one time without dropping frames so im left with the chapters being their own files, this is great for some programs, but not for others, im using dvd-lab to enable multi audio tracks, by way of ifoedit, and as far as i can tell dvd-lab doesn't like seperate files to be on the same title, so heres what i did, i put the files in TMPGEnc Dvd Author, and made the vts folder, so what this does is gives me one vob file with the whole movie on it, i plugged that into tmpgenc (the encoder) and pulled up the mpeg tools and demultiplexed it, so i demultiplexed a vob file into one m2v file and one mp2 file, which i admit is backwords and i didn't think it would work as well as it did, but hey it works. then i pull up ifoedit and make that one big file have several audio tracks, then put the whole thing in dvd-lab, this all works suprisingly well with one problem, dvd-lab shoes the timecode in seconds with it restarting everytime there was a chapter break, there are no chapter breaks really but this method i used confused it, i would like something just to fix the timecode problem, not to tell me that i used the most complicated and rediculous method anyone has ever heard up, i promise you all i realize that. i feel like the file will work file with the timecode problem but i just want some kind of program that would reset it properly. thank you all

Doesn't the pro version allow multiple audio files? Maybe it's worth to download the trial version

not the trial version, but the beta version, one can test it for free till the release version comes out.

Back to your question: the TDA authored/muxed the destination VOB files with diff. VOB-ID in one VTS. MPEG stream in each ID starting the PTS from zero. So the problem of timecode. To avoid this, do the following:

1. capture the LD direct in MPEG2 format at a constant, high bitrate in several recording sessions.
2. edit(cut) and then murge the mpeg2 files to one big file via a mpeg2 editor(M2-Edit Pro, Wimble 2003)
3. author it in DVD-Lab Pro, no need to launch ifoedit.
