Psychovisual Enhancements in 5.2

I am getting great results using Slow mode, for Psychovisual. Great compression, and a sharp image. In the previous release, it wasn't as sharp. I am also using adaptive multiple consecutive bi-directional encoding, so maybe this is the reason. I am really liking this version. The bitrate calculator is right on the mark every time. I have only done 3 movies with it so far, though.

As long as you stay with h263 quantization type the codec is good. In some cases better than 5.11.
Dont bother trying to use MPEG-2 quantization type to squeeze more details coz it's heavily b0rked.

Sharktooth do you mean "If you stay with h263 quantization type the codec is good."?

As "Until you stay with h263 quantization type the codec is good." does not make sense as the statement on its own sugests that the codec is good until you use h263 quant which is not inline with the rest of your post.
