Hi.

After doing my first NTSC DVD after loads of PAL ones, I learnt the joy of all the new aspects that I was oblivious to previously.

The one which was really a problem for me was importing chapters (.CHP) in Maestro. I got the I-Frame not consistent etc - chapters will not be imported message. I tried this and that and even re-encoded the video as I thought it must be that I hadn't used the FILM CCE TXT for I frames in CCE's ECL file (I used the PAL one doh).

Anyway after much reading and head scratching I went to good old IFOUPDATE and from something I had read on this forum I ticked the box marked 'Semi-Colon as Frame Delimiter' and lo and behold chapters now import as normal!!

Why couldn't somebody have told me it was as simple as that, I nearly smashed my monitor trying to get aropund the problem. I hope this isn't common knowledge as I couldn't find it on here and I like to think I have given some small (very small) thing back to a community that has helped me in the past.

N.

Sorry I should have told you in the other thread :o

Not especially experienced in NTSC (I live in PAL land too) but AFAIK in Maestro hh:mm:ss;ff is for drop frame and hh:mm:ss:ff is for non-drop frame.
