Hi,
I have been doing conversions for a while but without a great technical insight. I have had no real problems however. After updating my reading I have seen that the recommended scale is for TV, whereas mine has been set to PC scale for ages. Is this incorrect. I have not noticed any problems on playback (on TV)which may be a good enough answer, I am interested to find out though.
Along with this, and slightly off topic, is the luminance level in CCE when encoding. I have always had mine set at 16-235 as this was recommended, but I have recently seen that it should be 0-255. I know there are differing opinions on almost everything but could someone point me in the right direction as I like to understand the basics at least.
Have my settings on these 2 progs been wrong all the time?
