64 Bit encoder?

I could not find anything about 64 Bit encoders with the search function, because 64 has only 2 letters :)

To my question.
Are there any 64 Bit Mpeg 2 encoders?

Yesterday I bought an AMD 64 annd it would be great to use the "new power" :)

you need a 64 bit OS to take full advantage of your new cpu aswell. this currently means linux. plus you really need a compiler that compiles 64 bit code etc etc etc.

so you will probably have to wait awhile before you start to really see lots of 64 bit compiles.

imho mencoder and ffmpeg do support 64 bit encoding (and a 64 bit os), so this would be a way to do that.
