Last Part of the movie is poor quality

I have just encoded a 3 hour movie into xvid and found that the last 15 to 20mins of the movie is poor pic quality the rest of the movie is fine.

Is there a setting i need to change?

Hi-

Sounds as if the credits encoding kicked in too early. Check the zones and make sure the frame number for credits encoding is correct. Maybe there's a frame number left over from a previous movie?

And please post the log.

Open VDubMod. Then go Video->Compression->XviD MPEG-4 Codec->Configure, and you'll see the Zones in the middle of the screen that pops up. The first line says W 1.00. If there's a second line below that, it'll have the frame number where credits encoding begins.

And if you don't see a second line, then my theory is wrong. :)
